Can we really believe that the left, the group to whom the Democratic Party moves ever closer would be good for the country? If you don’t see a problem there, then consider what is happening on college campuses around the country:

About former First Lady Barbara Bush at her death, Fresno State professor Randa Jarrar tweeted that “Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal.  I’m happy the witch is dead. can’t wait for the rest of her family to fall to their demise the way 1.5 million Iraqis did.”

Last year, another Fresno State history lecturer was put on leave for saying: “To save American democracy, Trump must hang. The sooner and higher the better.” He also called for the execution of two Republicans for every deported illegal immigrant!

At Rutgers University in New Jersey, a professor posted on social media that Israel wants to exterminate the Palestinians but haven’t been able to because so many Isareli Jews are gay.

A professor at City University in New York blamed “white nuclear families” (those with both a father and mother) for perpetuating “white supremacy” and racism.

A professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia said he wanted to vomit when he saw someone in first class on an airplane give up his seat to a wounded soldier.  He also tweeted “All I want for Christmas is White genocide.”  He was put on leave.

A professor at Austin Community College in Texas resigned after saying of Education Secretary Betsy Devos, “I’m not wishing for it … but I’d be ok if #BetsyDevos was sexually assaulted.”

In New Jersey, Brookdale Community College professor Howard Finkelstein, in a heated exchange, was captured on video telling a conservative student, “F— your life!”

At the City University of New York School of Law, students shouted down guest lecturer Josh Blackman for 10 minutes before he could continue his remarks. When Duke University President Vincent Price was trying to address alumni, students commandeered the stage, shouting demands and telling him to leave.

Yes, the left has already taken over our campuses.  Brooklyn College professor, William Langbert, produced a study which examines the political affiliations of faculty members with Ph. D. at 51 of the 66 top-ranked liberal arts colleges.  According to U.S. News & World Report, he found that 39 percent of the colleges had not a single Republican on staff.  The ratio of Democrats professors to Republican professors is unbelievably skewed at these elite colleges. At Williams College, the Democrat-to-Republican ratio is 132-to-1. At Amherst College, it’s 34-to-1. Wellesley’s is 136-to-1. At Swarthmore, 120-to-1. Claremont McKenna, 4-to-1. Davidson, 10-to-1. Only two colleges of the top 66 on U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 list approach equality between Democratic and Republican faculty members. They are the U.S. Military Academy,(West Point_, with a Democrat-to-Republican ratio of 1.3-to-1, and the U.S. Naval Academy, whose ratio is 2.3-to-1.

In a country which, according to Pew Research, is more conservative than liberal, this swing to the left on college campuses is indoctrinating our young with hatred for those with differing ideas, intolerance and disdain for conservative values, and admiration for socialism, a failed system of government which enslaved millions of people around the world for decades.  We must be careful of where we send our children to college, and we must warn them that the views they will hear expressed on campus are one-sided and intolerant.  And we must realize that the Democratic Party is embracing this hatred, this intolerance, and the swell of socialism coming from the left.  We must realize it, and keep them out of office.
