The second great lie that the Democrats are perpetuating on the country is that of “systemic racism.”  One must give credit to the Democrats for being able to convince at least half of the country that America is a hotbed of racism when most of the racism being practiced is being practiced by them.

First, as I have pointed out before, before the 2008 election, a number of Americans were surveyed to find out how many of them would refuse to vote for a black man for president, for a woman for president, or for a Mormon for president. The percentage of voters who wouldn’t vote for a Mormon was higher than the percentage that wouldn’t vote for a women, but the lowest percentage was for a black man.  Only 4% of Americans would not vote for a man for president because he was black.

This tiny percentage of our nearly 330 million citizens fits exactly into an international survey done of a number of countries around the world a few years ago.  People were asked if they would move if a person of another race suddenly moved next door.  France, which has struggled with problems caused by immigrants from their former African colonies for years, was, perhaps not surprisingly, pretty racist.  But Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States all were scarcely racist at all, with only 4-5% of their people scoring as racist.

Systemic racism, by definition, means that the entire system of this country, its laws, its hiring practices, its school system favors whites over all other races, particularly blacks. We are, in this blog, only going to consider blacks and whites, since Hispanics and American Indians are only now and then included, and Asians are as discriminated against as whites in many ways.  So, let’s consider whether the American system is racist, preventing blacks from achieving success. In Democrat cities, the answer would be “yes.”  Poor schools, spotty garbage pick-up, run down apartments, gangs and drugs are the facts of the lives of most inner-city blacks.  The recent call for defunding the police has caused the early retirement of many police officers with police departments unable to afford to fill their positions.  Thus, it is these poor areas that get the least police presence.

The National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers contribute heavily to the Democrat Party and he who pays the piper calls the tune.  Henceforth, school choice and charter schools are rarely available to the poor blacks of Democrat-run cities.  Thus, they continue in their failing schools and graduate, scarcely able to read or do math on an 8thgrade level, much less a graduate level.  Affirmative action slides these ill-prepared students into universities when they are more suited to well-paying jobs in construction, plumbing, or electrical work.  They are not prepared for college, and so they fail, becoming gang members or young, unmarried mothers, all dependent upon government assistance for a living.

At Planned Parenthood, whose primary focus is the lucrative abortion market, black babies are aborted at four times the rate of white babies.  If this isn’t racism, the careful, planned genocide of a race, I don’t know what is.  In 2011, 360,000 black babies’ lives were snuffed out as they were pulled, limb by limb from their mothers’ wombs as they writhed in pain.  This is part of the racism of the Democrat Party who supports and has always supported Planned Parenthood, which again, donates heavily to Democrat candidates.

Democrats have worked hard for the last decade or so to divide this country into tribes, this country which was once called the great melting pot because so many diverse cultures and ethnicities and races came together here and became Americans.  No, not white Americans or black Americans or Hispanic American, but just Americans.  To Republicans, it doesn’t matter the color of your hair or of your skin.  It doesn’t matter if you are gay or transgender.  As long as you love this country and want to preserve its freedoms which the Constitution guarantees, then you are one of us!  Sure, many of us don’t believe in gay marriage or in transgenderism, but that doesn’t mean we will turn you away, nor does it mean that we will not applaud you for the great things you do.  Ric Grenell is gay, but Ric Grenell is one of the favorite Republicans among all of us and perhaps will one day be president.   You don’t have to share our religious beliefs — the Constitution says so.  You just need to be a patriotic American.  That is all we ask. Despite what the Democrats want you to believe, Republicans understand this is not a theocracy and we don’t want one!  We just want you and us to have the liberty to believe as we will without trampling on each other.

But Democrats are great tramplers. As they divide us into camps, they trample on the freedom of “people of color” to be treated like ordinary Americans.  Instead, despite its illegality, they have created on some college campuses black-only dorms, black-only graduation ceremonies, and black-only “safe spaces” where others, especially whites are not allowed to go.  Sorry all you black Americans, but you have just allowed the Democrats to segregate you under the guise of doing something good for you.  The segregation that your great grandparents fought to get rid of, and did get rid of, you have been deceived into accepting as a good thing.

Bishop E. W. Jackson, a well-known black pastor, referring to the payment of reparations by white people, most of whose ancestors either were not here during slavery or did not own slaves, to black people, many of whom do not have ancestors who were brought here as slaves from Africa, says the following:

“My father, grandfather and I have known only freedom. That is three generations, and my children are the fourth. With each generation, the standard of living has increased and life has gotten better for all Americans, including we who are of African ancestry.

Obsession with the past does nothing but distract us from building a future. I am concerned about our children and grandchildren getting a good education and having rewarding careers, happy lives and healthy families. There is no better place in the world for that to happen than the United States of America.”

Only 3 – 6% of captured African slaves were brought to the American colonies.  Most of the rest went to Brazil and the Caribbean.  Slavery was not in the United States for 400 hundred years.  For most of the time, the colonies were under the rule of Great Britain and were not allowed to get rid of slavery because the British considered the use of slaves to be cheap labor in the cotton and tobacco plantations.  Thus it was only in 1789 when the Constitution of the new country went into effect that the United States gained the power to decide the right or wrongness of slavery and thus the responsibility for continuing to allow it until the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th  (1865) 14th  (1869) and 15th  (1870) amendments which abolished slavery, made blacks full citizens, and finally gave them the right to vote.  That means that the sovereign United States of America only had slavery for 77 years at the most.  That the majority of white men of this country (women didn’t get the vote until 1920) recognized the injustice and cruelty of slavery and did away with it within 77 years of becoming a new nation (and during which time they had been involved in a second war with Great Britain) says a great deal about the good moral character of white Americans and the lack of systemic racism except in the Democrat-controlled South.

If there were still systemic racism in the South and all over the country, how would it be possible for black men and women to ascend to positions of authority?  How could a Ben Carson become a famed neurosurgeon, a presidential candidate, and finally the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development?  How could a Herman Cain become the CEO of a company?  How could Clarence Thomas get a law degree from Yale and eventually become an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court?  How could a Barack Hussain Obama get elected twice to the presidency of the United States? How could a Tim Scott become the first black elected to the Senate in the South since Reconstruction?

This country is filled with black teachers, black doctors and nurses, black television actors, black singers, black musicians, black sports stars (thus black millionaires!), black police men and women, black FBI agents, black generals, black chiefs of police, black mayors, black governors, black members of Congress.  How does that happen if the system is stacked against them, if every white person is striving to prevent them from succeeding?  It does not, because the system is not stacked against them.  They are not impeded from reaching their potential any more than members of other races are, except in the slums of Democrat-run cities, where grand promises of help are made, and nothing of real help is ever done.

President Trump, whom the Democrats convinced half the country was a rabid racist, helped create Opportunity Zones in these very same poor black communities, to help enterprising blacks begin their own businesses.  He also oversaw a tax cut that put money back into the pockets of black workers, and engineered an economy that created so many jobs that black unemployment was the lowest it has ever been.  President Trump is a Republican.

Many blacks have been Republicans since Reconstruction, including former slave and abolitionist Frederick Douglass; P. B. S. Pinchback, the first black governor of a U.S. state; E. Frederic Morrow, the first black to hold an executive position at the White House; Dr. Mildred Faye Jefferson, the first black to graduate from Harvard Medical School; Edward Brooke of Massachusetts, the first black to be elected by popular vote to the U.S. Senate.  Condoleezza Rice, former Secretary of State. General Colin Powell. Attorney and columnist Larry Elder. Thomas Sowell, Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. Charles Payne from Fox Business News. Candace Owens, activist and NRA spokesperson. Stacy Dash, actress and former talk show host.  If you want to read more names of famous black Republicans, they can be found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_African-American_Republicans, at www.Ranker.com>list>famous-conservatives, and www.birminghamtimes.com> Politics. The list is far to long to include here.

The question then becomes, “Why would all these educated, influential, important African-Americans choose to be Republicans if Republicans were truly racists?”  The answer, of course, is that they wouldn’t. They have instead, joined the Party that offers the most help and the most hope to their communities.  They give lie to the idea that blacks are helpless victims oppressed by white Americans and the American “system,” and instead demonstrate that all Americans can achieve their potential in this country.

Only Republicans believe they are basically color blind. Democrats have never been able to do that, you see, never.  Not during slavery, not during the Civil War, not during Reconstruction, not during the Jim Crow laws, not during the Civil Rights Movement, and not today.  Whatever they say, they have always believed themselves to be superior to those “people of color.” They departmentalize everyone by skin color and assign the role of victim and victimizer according to their political agenda.  They divide us, because divided, we can be defeated.  And they must defeat us to control us and that, after all, is their ultimate goal.
