The Democrats are accusing President Trump of engaging in a cover-up. A cover-up of what? An FBI investigation of several months followed by a  2-year investigation by Robert Mueller and at least 11 Democratic lawyers who had either represented Hilary Clinton or donated to her or other Democratic campaigns failed to find any collusion. Mueller left it up to Attorney General Barr in conjunction with several others to determine that there had also been no obstruction of justice. Yet that is what Democrats have decided happened. Trump obstructed justice by firing FBI head Comey and wanting Mueller fired as well.

Let’s take a logical look at the case, beyond the Democratic hype. One demands justice for a wrong or, in this case, a crime (although “collusion” is not a crime, even with a foreign government).  But President Trump knew he had not colluded with Russia. So there was no crime for him to try to cover up by “obstructing justice” in his firing of Comey. In addition, although he also thought Comey should go because of his mishandling of the Clinton server “matter” which Democrats themselves were bitter over, it was not until the Assistant Attorney General Rod Rosenstein sent him a letter advising him to replace Comey that he actually did so. And it had absolutely no effect of the ridiculous investigation into the non-crime.

As for Mueller, the months went on and Mueller’s tactics resulted in the indictment of a bunch of Russians who will never come here for trial and one Russian company who DID hire a U.S. attorney since they had not been in business at the time that they had supposedly interfered in our election. Then he forced Michael Flynn to admit to lying to the FBI even though the FBI themselves stated that they believed he had NOT lied to them. But Flynn, bankrupted by legal fees had been threatened with two choices: plead guilty to lying or we will bankrupt your son as well. Flynn, like most parents, threw himself on his sword to save his son.

Others were also convicted of lying to the FBI (easy to do. . . you only have to remember a time that you gave them before wrong or some other detail and if they want you, they have got you. Forgetting or becoming confused under pressure is not an excuse for someone they wish to indict.). Most served only a few days in jail. Paul Manafort was convicted of a monetary crime dealing with his work for a foreign country in 2008. Prosecutors at the time had not felt the “crime” was worth pursing and had not prosecuted. But for Mueller, anything and anyone was fair game!

So is it any wonder that the president would become frustrated and want Mueller and his investigation gone? Wouldn’t you have, in his position? And Mueller also, as an employee of the Justice Department could have been fired by the president. His firing and Comey’s firing both fell within the Constitutional rights and duties of the president. YET HE NEVER HAD MEULLER FIRED.

18 U.S.C. § 1503 defines “obstruction of justice” as an act that “corruptly or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication, influences, obstructs, or impedes, or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede, the due administration of justice.”  It says nothing about wanting to fire someone.  And how can it be obstruction of “justice” when there was no crime for which

justice needs to be sought? And firing Comey in no way would have obstructed Mueller’s investigation because Comey was unlikely to have been doing any of the actual investigating himself.  He had a myriad of FBI agents whose job it was to investigate.  His jobwas supposed to oversee the Bureau, not to become judge and jury as he did when he first exonerated Mrs. Clinton, then threw her to the wolves, then exonerated her again, or when he leaked classified conversations with the president in order to provide a reason to appoint a special counsel.

What the Democrats hope to produce with their unrelenting re-investigation of a non-crime that the Special Counsel and his professional investigators have declared is a non-crime, is to provide some TV coverage of White House personnel being forced into saying inconsequential but perhaps embarrassing things about the president.  And the reason that they will not give up this ludicrous search for a “cover-up” by the president is because they want to divert attention from the real cover-up, from the real collusion.

Attorney General Barr has vowed to find out exactly how the “investigation” into the Trump campaign began.  Why?  Because he is convinced the Republican presidential candidate’s campaign was spied on, yes SPIED on, by Democrats. And because what happened has never before happened in the United States of America.  It goes far beyond Watergate.  There, some Nixon supporters broke into the Democratic National Committee office to try to find some useful information about how they were going to conduct their campaign.  Here, important, highly placed officials in the party in power, deliberately spied on the campaign of the opposing party’s presidential candidate and also used foreign operatives to try to trick one or more of his campaign members to making it appear that the campaign was “colluding” with Russia.  And they succeeded to some extent.  One campaign worker who had been invited to speak in Great Britain (part of the scam), was told by a British agent working for the FBI that the Russians had hacked into Clinton’s emails.  This worker was then prodded into repeating this interesting information to a member of the Australian Embassy staff who felt compelled (per arrangement) to tell what he had heard to the FBI.  Thus, the FBI’s own planted information could be reported as having come from a friendly country’s government and used as evidence of Russian collusion where there was none.

The name of all of the agents involved have been plastered over news articles along with their roles in this elaborate scheme.  In addition, John Brennan, former Director of the CIA, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch (of the famous meeting with Bill Clinton during Hillary’s server investigation where they “just discussed grandchildren”), former FBI Director James Comey, and former head of National Intelligence, James Clapper, are pointing fingers at each other already, none of them willing to admit that this whole collusion scheme started with him or her. Still, the Inspector General of the Justice Department is preparing a report that will be out soon, and Attorney General Barr has appointed a Federal Prosecutor to separately investigate the birth and growth of this false collusion narrative.

While the Inspector General cannot impanel Grand Juries and indict, the Federal Prosecutor can!  This is why House Intel Committee Chairman Adam Schiff made the following illogical accusation: “While Trump stonewalls the public from learning the truth about his obstruction of justice (which we already said did not happen) Trump and Barr conspire to weaponize law enforcement and classified information against their political enemies.  The cover-up has entered a new and dangerous phase.  This is un-American.”

If all that we have discovered through emails and documents obtained by various organizations through the Freedom of Information Act is actually true, then it is the Democrats who weaponized the FBI, the CIA, the Justice Department and Obama’s National Security Advisor, Susan Rice, against the opposing political party’s presidential candidate.  As for classified information, any president can remove that classification from any information he so chooses.  Democrats don’t want you to read about what they actually did.  The “new and dangerous phase” of the cover-up is that the Democratic cover-up is about to be uncovered before the eyes of every American and within just over a year of the 2020 election.

Yes, Representative Schiff, what your party did wasun-American, and soon everyone will know it. And it may well be that some people will go to jail for their participation in the attempt to interfere with a presidential election and then, when their candidate lost, in the attempt to overthrow a duly elected president.  Was it a failed coup?  Yes, I would say that it was.  And the collusion with a foreign government came from the Democrats since both the DNC and the Clinton campaign paid for the dossier put together by Steele, an agent of the British government, with information fed him by Russians.  None of the Steele dossier has ever been verified, and yet it became the primary basis for an investigation that will have cost the American people around 34 million dollars!

How many homeless Americans would that money have fed?
