Something is going on that is not only a gross miscarriage of justice, but also far more un-American than the water-boarding of known terrorists that the Democrats screamed about for years. About 40 Americans who participated in the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol building are being held in atrocious conditions in the D.C. jail.  In October, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth ordered an investigation of the facility by the U.S. Marshalls after he became aware that one Jan. 6 prisoner, Christopher Worrell, who is suffering from cancer and apparently broke his hand during a fall in May, had still not received the corrective surgery that had been ordered by the doctor.

The Marshalls entered the facility, and promptly removed 400 prisoners, transferring then to another facility because the conditions were so bad.  The “pod” in which the Jan. 6 defendants were held, however, they deemed to meet minimum conditions and none of them were removed.  Does anyone find it strange that the only “political” prisoners in a massively Democrat city, who have been deemed “white supremacists” although they strenuously deny that they are, would be treated nicer by the all-black corrections officers than the black prisoners in other parts of the jail?  Or that Merrick Garland’s Federal Marshalls would find that their part of the jail, and their part alone was run well?

What do the political prisoners say about the conditions under which they live?  They claim that those needing medical care, like Worrell, are not getting it. Their breakfast is often two pieces of bread and a slice of bologna. Lunch may see a cold chicken or beef patty, and supper is not much better with vegetables and fruit non-existent.  They are often on lockdowns.  They sing the national anthem every evening to raise their spirits and remind themselves that they love America.  To their singing, one guard yelled “F***America!” There are no church services for them to attend, so one prisoner, Ryan Samsel,  attempted to run his own Bible study.  As a result, the guards beat him severely, breaking his jaw, his nose and breaking an eye socket which resulted in blindness in that eye.  These prisoners often are forced to spend 23 hours in their cells without exercise or the ability to interact with others.  Solitary confinement, which this pretty much is, causes emotional and mental problems in those who undergo it.  In addition, those with physical conditions continue not to get needed health care such as a CPAC.  Some, however, have been given bond or sent on home arrest because their lawyers were able to convince a judge (in D.C.) that their health problems warranted it.  For example, Thomas Caldwell was eventually released on bond because he had been confined to a wheelchair as a result of not being given proper orthopedic care in the facility.  But most of these “violent extremists,” who we now have evidence were suckered into this non-conspiracy by FBI agitators remain under appalling conditions.

The conditions in the jail itself are bad.  There have been problems with the heat, the air conditioning, and the sewage. The water from the faucets is brown with rust, mold is on the walls, and at least once the sewer backed up covering the floor of the “pod” with excrement. Private documents dealing with their communications with their lawyers are often stolen from their cells, although, naturally, the guards deny that such a thing ever happens.  Mail is sometimes held for weeks before being given to them, occasionally communications from their lawyers is simply withheld, and their contact with the outside world is limited at best.  They have to share nail clippers, wear masks at all times, and are not allowed to shave.  They are losing weight due to malnutrition and are beginning to look like the barbaric mountain men the Democrats want us to believe that they are.

“This is inhumane and people think it’s OK because I’m a Trump supporter,” wrote one Jan . 6 detainees in a letter that was published on The Gateway Pundit, a right-wing blog, about his experience in solitary confinement. “Because I like Trump they don’t see me as human. They enjoy watching me suffer. It makes them smile. How sick is that? The pure hate within the Justice Department is obvious in their actions” (Vice.com).

Republican Representatives Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, and Majorie Taylor-Greene,  arrived at the facility unannounced with a camera crew and demanded to see the conditions under which the Jan. 6 prisoners were being held.  These members of Congress were denied permission to enter and were sent away, the jail door locked so they couldn’t enter.  Why?  If the conditions in the Jan. 6 “pod” are humane and sanitary,  why were they not allowed to see that for themselves?

Politifact would like you to believe that these are not political prisoners because some of them hit police with a crutch, a flag pole, and pepper spray. They continue, as do all the Democrat sources, to call this an “insurrection” in which the only person shot was unarmed veteran Ashli Babbitt, killed by a panicked policeman as she simply turned through a doorway.  No police died.  No members of Congress were injured.  Yet during the summer of 2020, looting and burning by Antifa and BLM caused over a billion dollars in loss in over 350 American cities.  Courthouses and police stations were taken over by rioters.  Entire sections of cities were blocked off and allowed to run, at least briefly, as independent cities.  At least 35 people died and many more were injured as motorists were dragged from their cars and police were attacked with projectiles including Molotov cocktails.  Those who were arrested for these attacks on our democracy, were quickly bonded out, often with their bonds being paid by high ranking Democrats including Kamala Harris.  Democrat District Attorneys regularly declined to press charges.

But let a group of Trump supporters, egged on by FBI undercover officers, invade the Capitol Building, basically unarmed, and it is an “armed insurrection!”  These were conservatives and included veterans and former police officers.  They owned guns.  If they had intended an actual insurrection, they would have come with handguns, rifles, and shotguns.  But they didn’t. Instead they were armed with American flags and some pepper spray, and a desire to stop the certification of an election that they were convinced, as most Republicans remain convinced to this day, was rigged. As for deaths, besides, Ashli Babbitt, only four others died and they were all rioters: One from a drug overdose and three of natural causes.

The conclusion of the FBI after their investigation was that they could find no indications of a conspiracy.  A few people had communicated with each other about going to demonstrate at the Capitol, but there was no organized plan for an insurrection or a riot.  We now know that many of the members of the Proud Boys and other groups, which the Democrats like to falsely label as “white supremacist” extremists, were convinced to attend a pre-Jan. 6 rally organized by an undercover FBI agent.  He apparently kept after some of these men until they reluctantly agreed to attend.  One attendee, looked around the crowd and said to himself that the undercover FBI agents outnumbered the other attendees.  It appears, that the “armed insurrection” in which not a single rioter fired a gun, threw a Molotov cocktail or planted a bomb, was instigated and organized by the FBI.

If the arrest and imprisonment of at least 40 of the men from the Jan 6th riot in solitary confinement for as much as nine months already isn’t a political act when literally nothing has happened to the vast number of thieves, arsonists, and murderers among the BLM/Antifa crowd, then I do not know what would constitute a political imprisonment.  That this could happen in America makes the Republican wins in yesterday’s elections all the more important.  We have lost liberty and truth in this country.  We have lost our government “of the people, by the people, and for the people” and we must, absolutely must, win it back!
